Winnie Lois Ivey Fulgham Chism, 79, died Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. She was born March 28, 1931, in Clarke County to Winnie Easter Sowers Ivey and William Eugene Ivey. She worked at Calvary Baptist Daycare with the Bed Babies. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with the Dr. James Towery officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in West Point.
Survivors include one daughter, Rita Fulgham Jennings (Eddie) of West Point; two grandchildren, Douglas Heath Jennings and Whitney Jennings Chambers (Lee); two stepsons, Albert Dale Chism Jr. and Kerry Chism, both of West Point; one sister, Nelda Ivey Pugh (Hal) of Cedar Bluff; one brother, William Dan Ivey of West Point; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-laws, Herbert Fulgham of Columbus, Victor Chism of West Point, Lynn Chism of Columbus, Daisy Burka of Berwick, Pa., Hilda Berry of Columbus and Linda Miller of Starkville.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Thomas Marvin Fulgham and Albert Dale Chism Sr.; her parents; a brother, Earl Eugene Ivey; and a stepson, Joey Chism.
Pallbearers will be Danny Ivey, Bill Ivey, Ronnie Ivey, Roger Ivey, Kevin Pugh and Nolan Whitt.
