Martha D. Brummett, 87, Morgan County, died at 1:45 p.m. on Feb. 9, 2004, at Cloverdale Convalescent and Rehabilitation Center in Cloverdale. The daughter of the late Robert and Elmyra (Martin) Fulford, she was born Aug. 11, 1916, in Ellettsville. She was the widow of Glen Theodore Brummett, whom she married in 1934. He died Dec. 10, 1974. Brummett was a homemaker and also farmed. She was a member of Olive Christian Church in Paragon. Survivors include three sons, Dale Eugene Brummett, Martinsville, and Gary and Lester Brummett, both of Cloverdale; a brother, Robert Fulford, Martinsville; nine grandchildren; two step-grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Triplets and five sisters, Iva Goodwin, Hallie, LaDonna Gobel, Mary Brummett and Thelma Fulford, and two brothers, Homer and Maurice Fulford, also preceded her in death. A private burial will be conducted at Olive Cemetery in Paragon. The Rev. Ralph Christman will officiate.
