Elsie Laura Fulbright Clouse, 87, of Batesville died Saturday, May 11, 1996.

Born in Cushman, she was the daughter of Jack and Janie White Fulbright.

She was a homemaker, and a member of the Allen Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, William R. Clouse of Batesville, and Jimmy R. Clouse of Jonesboro; two brothers, the Rev. Everett Fulbright of Spring Mill, and J.D. Fulbright of Batesville; three sisters, Imogene Richardson and Beatrice Fulbright, both of Batesville; and Margie McClure of Michigan; two grandchildren, Michael Raymond Clouse and Cynthia Elaine Collom; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Calvin Clouse; a daughter, Ravie Clouse; and three brothers, Herbert Fulbright, Wille Fulbright, and Buster Fulbright.

The funeral was 2 p.m. today in the Crouch Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. James Forlines and the Rev. J.W. Blanks officiating.

Burial was in Egner Cemetery with arrangements by Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.

Pallbearers were, Billy Davis, Kenneth Henry, Michael Gene Clouse, Jason Clouse, Jonathan Clouse, and Donald Crow.
