She owned and operated Zarbatany's Market, Easton, for 32 years until retiring in 1965. She also was an independent seamstress.
She was born in Damascus, Syria.
Surviving are three sons, Albert and John Zarbatany, both of Palmer Township, and Robert Zarbatany of Mount Union, Huntingdon County; a brother, Antoine Kassab, and a sister, Emily Tabah, both of Montreal, Canada; two stepdaughters, Jeanette Budge of Palmer Township and Betty Lou Zarbatany of Mount Union; 10 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Curran-Finegan Funeral Home, 1837 Washington Blvd., Wilson. Calling hours will be 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
