"Mrs. Rhoda J. Fry - The funeral of Mrs. Rhoda J. Fry, widow of the late Ezra Fry, took place at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon from the home of her daughter,
Mrs. Charles F. Burger, 231 South Sixth street. Rev. C. E. Doty, pastor of the Warren Avenue M. E. church, officiated. The pallbearers were Charles F. Burger,
R. R. Darwin Sr., F. E. Darwin, H. E. Parsons, A. Van Norman and Verne Fry. There was a large attendance of neighbors and friends, many of her old neighbors from Bridgeport and Spaulding township, being present. The Ladies Aid society of the Warren Avenue M. E. church attended in a body. Mrs. W. H. Skillen sang "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere", and "Jesus Savior, Pilot Me". Burial was in Oakwood, Bridgeport. Those in attendance from out of the city were Mr. and Mrs. R. R. Darwin of Parkin, Ark.; Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Darwin, of Pinconning, Mich.; Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Parsons and Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Parsons of Lansing; Mr. and Mrs. Vern Fry and Mr. and Mrs. George Fry, of Flint; Mr. and Mrs. James Fry, of Standish; Geo. Fry, of Bay City; William Happ, of Detroit; and A. R. Van Norman,
of Grand Rapids."
