HYNDMAN, Pa. - Naomi Marie Becky Frost, 85, of Hyndman, died on Monday, Jan. 16, 2006, at her home.
Born Feb. 2, 1920, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Floyd Rudolph Engle and Julia Stella (Wade) Engle. Mrs. Frost was also preceded in death by two husbands, Joseph R. Logsdon and William C. Frost; a sister, Julia Sis Apple; and a brother, Bill Engle.
A homemaker, Mrs. Frost was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She was a life-member of the LaVale Volunteer Firemen's Auxiliary.
Becky is survived by her son, Wayne T. Logsdon and his wife Darlene, Ellerslie; her daughters, Gladys Nickie E. Shinholt, Cumberland and Betty M. Piper and her husband Luther, Hyndman; her brother, Elmer Engle and his wife Dorothy, Colorado Springs, Colo.; her sister, Dorothy S. Miller and her husband Bob, Hyndman; as well as 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, on Wednesday, Jan.18, 2006, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2006, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Virginia Weaver officiating.
Interment will be held in Sunset Memorial Park.
