Anna Virginia Fringer, age 92 of Merchantville, NJ, formerly of Westminster, died November 15, 2008 at Innova Health Care, Mt..Laurel NJ. She was born June 28, 1916 in Smallwood, MD, the daughter of the late Chester and Disye Amanda Ward Stimax. She was the wife of the late Guy N. Fringer, Jr. She was a 1930 graduate of Westminster High School. She was a lifelong member of Westminster United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School and was a member of the Friendly Class and the Miriam Circle; and past president of the Carroll County Homemakers. She worked for Cities Service, Citgo and Eagle oil Company for 40 years. An accomplished gardener, cook and seamstress, she was a charter member of the Mason Dixon Chapter of the American Rhododendron Society. She is survived by daughter, Louie Reisser of Merchantville, NJ; daughter-in-law, Joanna Fringer of Raleigh, NC; granddaughter, Jennifer and her husband, Chris Pittman; great grandchildren, Sophie Marie and Teah Clair Pittman of Raleigh; great grandchildren, Chelsea, John and Erik Hawkins of Merchantville, NJ; great great grandson, Rowan Alexander Dietz of NJ; and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brother, Carroll G. "Bud" Stimax, sister, Corrinne McKinnon and son, Guy N. Fringer III. A funeral service will be held Saturday 11:00 AM at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis Street, Westminster with her pastor Rev. Laura Easto officiating. Interment will follow in Westminster Cemetery.
