She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Kay, deceased on May 28, 1956, one brother, and two sisters. Survivors are her two remaining children: a daughter, Joyce Neale & husband John of Jerico Springs; a son, Bill Eggleson & wife Judi of Snohomish, Wash.; six grandchildren, Kathie Needham and Karen Rusch of Lockwood, Shelly Lasater of Rifle, Colo., Bill Eggleson, Bret Eggleson, and Gary Eggleson of Snohomish, Wash.; 13 great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved very much; one brother, Glen Frieze of Stockton; three sisters, Maida Myrl Ellis and Naomi Wollard of Stockton and Baryldean Rice of Milton, Wash; one sister-in-law; and three brothers-in-law. Lorene was converted at an early age and was a member of the Stockton Missionary Baptist Church. She always loved going to church, singing hymns and looking foreward to meeting her Lord and Savior. Lorene has always lived her life in the Wagoner, Jerico Springs, and Stockton areas. She retired from teaching school in 1972 after teaching for 36 years. She graduated from Stockton High School in 1926 and SMS in 1965. She started her teaching career at the Hudson Rural School in 1926, and taught in other rural schools in Cedar County--five years in Jerico Springs and 22 years in Stockton R-1 District schools. Lorene was a loving wife, mother and friend to all who knew her, always willing to help. Her passing will leave an empty place in the lives of her loved ones, neighbors, and friends. God in His wisdom knows best, and we humbly submit to His will.
