MT. PLEASANT — Annie Birden Sharpe Frierson, 76, died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2001, at Metro General Hospital in Nashville.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 pm Wednesday in Hunter Cemetery with Robert Childress and Melvin Taylor officiating.
The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Birt and Bessie Jones Sharp. She was a graduate of Clarke High School and a member of the Original Church of God on Railroad Street in Mt. Pleasant.
She was preceded in death by all of her siblings: Katie, Austin, Willie, William, Christine, Tom, Ella and Frances.
Survivors include her stepchildren James (Deborah) Frierson of Mt. Pleasant and Cora Frierson Armstrong of Battle Creek, MI; grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, Imogene Conger, Elaine (John) Chisum, Charles (Dorothy) Sharpe, all of Mt. Pleasant; William S. Sharpe of Nashville, Vivian Martin of Columbia, and Debra (Gregory) Lyles of Murfreesboro; sister-in-law Mrs. Betrue Sharpe of Mt. Pleasant; and other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
