CICERO — Mary Louise Barrickman, 86, died March 2, 2007, at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville.
She was born Feb. 13, 1921, in Pittsboro, the daughter of Winnie W. and Margaret Agnes (Thompson) Friedrich.
She was a graduate of Broad Ripple High School in Indianapolis, Class of 1939.
On Oct. 5, 1940, she married Wallace V. Barrickman.
Mary Louise was a homemaker who volunteered for her church, in the community and for various charities.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church; past president of Ladies Sodality of Sacred Heart Catholic Church; and a member of Special Citizens of Hamilton County (now Janus Developmental Center).
Survivors include two sons, Thomas Marion Barrickman of Brewton, Ala., and David Allen Barrickman of Anderson; four daughters, Margaret Ella Armstrong of Noblesville, Rebecca Jane Denham of Tipton, Bonita "Bonnie" Louise Sharp of Arcadia and Kathleen Anne Keesling of Indianapolis; her brother, Jerry Friedrich of Kokomo; three sisters, Alice Huber of Hudson, Fla., Jane Groover of Kentland and Eileen Eiklebarger of Rochester; 22 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
Mary Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Winnie W. and Margaret Agnes (Thompson) Friedrich, her husband, Wallace V. Barrickman; two brothers; and four sisters.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cicero, Ind., officiated by Father Michael Kettron. Burial will take place at Cicero Cemetery.
Visitation hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hartley Funeral Home, 209 W. Jackson St., Cicero, Ind.
Memorial contributions may be made, through the funeral home, to the Alzheimer's Association or to the American Cancer Society.
