Frieders, Clarice I. 77, of Geneva, IL, formerly of Aurora, passed away after a longterm illness on Monday, November 10, 2014 at Geneva Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born September 19, 1937 in Dairyland, WI. Clarice was a member of St. Joseph Church in Aurora, IL. She was also a member of Phoenix, Tiger, and Eagle Club, all in Aurora, IL. She was a huge supporter of her son's business, Kline Landscaping in Aurora, IL. Clarice was a long-term employee of Perry Drugs in Montgomery, IL and Waubonsee Valley High School where she worked in the school cafeteria and touched many lives there. She will be missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her four sons, Jim Keup, Tim (Carol) Keup, Robert Kline and Joseph (Tina Miller) Kline; her daughter, Kathy (Jeff) Barnett; three grandsons; three granddaughters; her great-grandchildren; her brother, Lee Wanovich; her sister, Lucy Simko; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and her longtime friend and hairdresser, Diane. She was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy Frieders.
Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 14, 2014 at 10 am at The Daleiden Mortuary. Fr. Jerome Leake officiated with interment at St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation was Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014 from 4 pm until 8 pm at The Daleiden Mortuary, Aurora, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Clarice's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, Greater Illinois Chapter, 8483 W. Bryn Mawr, Suite 800, Chicago, IL 60631.
