Viola May Baker, 87, of Goshen, died late Sunday morning, December 8, 2013, at Courtyard Healthcare. She had been in failing health the past four years.

She was born May 4, 1926 in South Bend to Clell and Laura (Eller) Frick.

On January 25, 1947 she married Herbert W. Baker. He died May 27, 1983.

Mrs. Baker is survived by three daughters, Darlene (Joseph) Lidy, Diana (Steve) Sherman and Deloris (Kelly) Rogers, all of Goshen; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, Warren Eugene Baker,and two brothers, Kenneth and Clarence Frick.

A graduate of Jimtown High School, Mrs. Baker was a homemaker and worked at Montgomery Ward & Salem Bank. She was a member of the West Goshen Church of the Brethren.
