Rita B. (Frey) Amspacher, 87, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2014, at Manor Care Dallastown. She was the wife of the late Preston Amspacher, Sr. Funeral services and burial in Prospect Hill Cemetery will be private. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, is in charge of arrangements. Born March 2, 1927, in York, a daughter of the late Albert and Mary Frey, Rita enjoyed being a homemaker and working with her flowers and garden. Mrs. Amspacher is survived by a daughter, Sharon A. Amspacher of York; a son, Preston Amspacher, Jr. of York; two granddaughters, Christine Amspacher, and Lisa and husband Todd Armold; two great-grandsons, Korbin and Maxwell Armold; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
