Agapito Fresquez, age 78 , a resident of California, a former native of New Mexico passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2005. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sotero and Anna Maria Fresquez; daughter, Darlene Fresquez; and brothers, John, Solomon and Jimez; sister, Josephine. He is survived by his wife, Flora Fresquez, children, Susan and husband Ron Viles, Phyllis Ridgley, Robert Fresquez and Leonard Fresquez; brothers and sisters, Sotero, Nino and Martin Fresquez, Adela Salazar, Anita Martinez and Lydia Martinez; 6 beloved granddaughters; 1 grandson and 10 cherished great grandchildren; five loving godchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was laid to rest at the Santa Fe National Cemetery on Friday, April 1, 2005. The family of Agapito Fresquez has entrusted his funeral arrangements to DeVargas Funeral Home of the Española Valley.
