NORTH BILOXI --- James Wilson French, 72, died Tuesday, May 4, 1999, in Biloxi.
Mr. French was born in Newark, Del., and had been a resident of the Coast for five years. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church in North Biloxi.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister; and a brother.
Survivors include four daughters, Wanda Sue Ezell of Dade City, Fla., Jeanie Young and Eva Mote, both of North Biloxi, and Nancy De-Ann Wilhelm of Dover, Del.; two sons, Timothy Wilson French of Gold Hill, Ore., and Michael French of Biloxi; two brothers, Albert French and Ralph French, both of Maryland; 17 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Visitation was from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi. A service will be at 11 a.m. today at Lighthouse Baptist Church where friends may call one hour before service time. Burial will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.
The family prefers memorials to the Lighthouse Baptist Church Building Fund, 7234 Gorenflo Road, Biloxi, MS 39532.
