BERNADOTTE COLUMN
Died at her home in Bernadotte, Oct 30, Mrs. Sarah Berry. She was born in England, in 1823. Came to this country when she was 27 years old. She was the mother of eight children, of whom four survive. They are Mrs. Ellen McKinsey, of Table Grove; Mrs. Eliza Hedden, of Peoria; John Berry, of Canton, and Robert Berry of this place. The funeral was conducted in the church Sunday at 10 a.m., by Rev. Hood, of Ipava. The remains were laid to rest in the Stites cemetery, west of town. The deceased was aged 79 years, 11 months, and 12 days.
