Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Old Stone church for Mrs. E. R. Cochran who died early Saturday morning. The Rev. Edward Heininger officiated at the services and burial was in the Rockton Cemetery.
Mrs. Cochran was the former Lucy Maybelle French and was born October 18, 1881 in Ashland, WI. She was married to the late Dr. Earl Robert Cochran in Chicago in 1909. They lived in Rockton for many years. Dr. Cochran died about a year ago.
Mrs. Cochran was a member of the Rockton Woman's Club, the Friendship Guild of the Old Stone church, the Beloit Treble Clef.
Surviving are a son, Robert Cochran of Rockton; a daughter, Mrs. Patricia Johnson, with whom she had lived for the past year; three grandchildren, and a brother, Elmer French of New Rochelle, New York.
