Fred Freiboth, 82, of 1433 N. Sixth St., Manitou Manor, Manitowoc, died Friday morning at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. N.W. Kock will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mr. Freiboth was born Jan. 13, 1890, at Ash Grove, Ill., son of the late Carl and Adelaide Roberts Freiboth. He married Hilda Peche Sept. 26, 1911, at Greenwood, Wis. He retired from farming at Rib Lake in 1942, moving to Manitowoc. He was employed as a guard at Burger Boat Co. Inc., and custodian at Eddy Paper Co. of Manitowoc until his retirement in 1952.

Survivors include his wife, three sons, Fred, of Westboro, Wis., Clarence, of Manitowoc and Arthur, of Medford, Wis.; three daughters, Mrs. Al (Esther) Dubicki, of Cassville, Mrs. Milton (Myrtle) Kubichek, of Wausau and Mrs. Robert C. (Doris) Luedtke, of Manitowoc; 34 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. A son and a daughter preceded him in death.

Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday until noon Maonday and then at the church until time of service.
