The Lord called Anna E. Bell home on Monday, February 26, 2007. She was born July 13, 1926 in Holmen, WI to Peter and Eva (Riley) Freeman. Later Anna and her mother moved to Belmont, where she was adopted by Arnold Speth. She married Delbert C. Bell, a lifelong resident of Dodgeville, on June 1, 1949. During her life, she worked at Burgess Battery of Mineral Point and cooked for over 40 years at Wayside, Aide's Supper Club and McDonald's where she retired from in 1988. Anna was a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Dodgeville. She enjoyed sewing, doing crafts, reading, spending time with her grandchildren and later in life with her great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Delbert Bell on October 5, 1994; her parents, two sisters and a brother.

Anna is survived by her son, David (Glenda) Bell a daughter, Deb Baker, both of Dodgeville; four grandchildren, Jeremy (April) Baker of Dodgeville; Peter Bell of LaCresent, MN; Jeret (Miranda) Baker of Mineral Point and Nikki (Jason Bindl) Bell of Middleton five great grandchildren, Danielle Johll Baker; Joseph, Alissa and Brianna Scales and Paige Baker; two sisters, Aldora (Sheldon) Kammerud of Dodgeville and Sandra (Ron) Lexa of Janesville; a brother-in-law, Edwin Bell of Dodgeville; a sister-in-law, Edna Anderson of Green Valley, AZ as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and lifetime full of friends and neighbors.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at the Lulloff-Peterson-Houck Funeral Home, Dodgeville. Pastor Kathy Jacobson will officiate with burial in East Side Cemetery in Dodgeville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday after 11:00 A.M.
