Geneva Lynn Freeman, age 51 of Cushing passed away on Monday, March 31, 2008 at her home in Cushing.
Geneva was born on December 12, 1956 in Cushing to the late Raymond and Ida Ruth (Benton) Dorle.
She was one of ten siblings. Geneva grew up in Cushing and attended Cushing schools. She married Larnce James Freeman on April 16, 1976. She was a homemaker. Geneva loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed camping and fishing, taking vacations and cooking. She spent so much of her time caring and taking care of others.
Geneva is survived by her daughter Kim Collier and husband Shawn of Cushing, step-daughter Christy Krueger and husband Ronnie of Texas, brothers Don Dorle and wife Jawanda of Silver City, Gene Dorle and wife Linda, Larry Dorle all Cushing, Mark Dorle of OKC, sisters Diane Gastelum and husband Mark of Glencoe, Janet Landry, Connie Norvell and husband Mark, Jackie Lann and husband Anthony all of Cushing, grandchildren Buddy Lee Byrd and wife Chelsea, and Zachary Byrd, special nephew Ryan Tosado and special uncle Oscar Benton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her brother Scotty Dorle.
Interment at the Fairlawn Cemetery, Cushing.
