for 2 years, date of pension application, 24 July 1914. Flesh wound in muscle
of arm received at Chickamauga, also total deafness caused from being too near
the cannons while firing. Captured 24 Nov 1863, sent to Louisville, KY; then Was a
prisoner at Rock Island 15 months.
