MRS. PILKINGTON

ALABASTER, Ala. -- Mrs. Janice Pilkington, 69, of Alabaster died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2003 at Alabaster Healthcare Center.

Graveside services were held Sunday, Nov. 16 at 2 p.m. (EST) at Fairfax Cemetery with the Rev. Stanley Duke officiating.

Mrs. Pilkington is survived by one daughter, Pamela Tittle (Alan) Corley of Hoover, Ala.; one grandson, Nick Tittle of Locust Fork, Ala.; one sister, Marian (Elon) Bailey of Lanett; one brother, Samual Tennyson of Valley; and several nieces and nephews.

Born March 12, 1934 in Chambers County, Mrs. Pilkington was the former owner of the Mountain Brook Beauty Salon. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved her church, Fairview Baptist Church. Mrs. Pilkington was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Pilkington, and her son, Harold L. Pilkington. She was the daughter of the late William T. and Minnie Kent Freeman.

Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley handled arrangements.
