Verna B Blosser, 79, of Palmetto, Fla, formerly of New Carlisle and South Bend, Ind, passed away at 9:30 am Saturday, Dec 22, in Manatee Memorial Hospital, Bradenton, Fla.
Mrs Blosser was born on Feb 26, 1922, in Birmingham, Ohio, and had lived in Florida since 1970.
On Nov 14, 1942, in New Carlisle, Ind, as Verna B Freeland, she married Forrest J Blosser Jr, who preceded her in death on Sept 2, 1988.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Bernard Freeland.
She is survived by her daughter, her two sons, five grandchildren, and by her sister, Norma (Charles) Hafer of South Bend.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Friday, Dec 28, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 201 S Filbert Street, New Carlisle. Burial will follow at New Carlisle Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 am to 1 pm Friday in the funeral home.
