Henry Freauff, 63, 4606 N.E. Cleveland Avenue, died Wednesday in St. Vincent's hospital from injuries suffered a month ago in a railroad accident at Vancouver, Wash.
Authorities said he fell from a scaffold September 9 while working in the SP&S yards as a boilmaker. He had been confined to the hospital since.
Mr. Freauff was born in Russia and worked for the railroad more than 30 years. He lived in Portland 43 years.
Surviving are the widow, Molly; three daughters and a son in Portland; Ruby, Vera, Melba and Ronald; another son, Edward of Coquille, and ten grandchildren.
Funeral will be Friday at 1 p.m. in the Pearson Mortuary, with burial at Rose City Cemetery.
