MRS. W. L. BAIRD, FORMER RESIDENT OF MOBERLY, DIES
Mrs. Susan Margaret Baird, 94-year-old former resident of Moberly, died Tuesday night in Montgomery, Ala., where she had lived for several years.
Mrs. Baird was born near Clifton Hill, the daughter of the late Dr. Joseph Hardena and Deniza E. Frazier. She lived in Moberly and was a member of the Coates Street Presbyterian Church. Her husband, William Lowry Baird, and one daughter, Mary M Baird, preceded her in death.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. J. M. Orr, Muskogee, Okla.; and Dr. Evelyn Miller, Montgomery, Ala; one son-in-law, Dr. D. H. Miller, Montgomery, Ala.; one brother, Aubrey C. Frazier, Twin Falls, Idaho; and three sisters, Mrs. Mary D. Harlan, College Mound, Mrs. Resa Goodding, Huntsville, and Mrs. Ione King, Lake Ozarks.
The body will arrive in Moberly at 6:30 o'clock tonight on the Wabash train No. 9 and will be taken to Cater Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon in the Cater chapel by the Rev. Robert Cuthill, pastor of the Coates Street Presbyterain Church. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
