LAMAR - Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Aubry Cemetery in Stillwell, Kan., for Kieffer Clifton Frazier, 97, Lamar, at Truman Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Brad Ratliff will officiate.
Musical selections include Come & Dine, Amazing Grace and I Will Meet You In The Morning, with vocalists being the Gospel Tabernacle Singers.
Pallbearers will be Roy Ratliff, Brad Ratliff, Howard Parks, Bill Smith, Harley Henson and Ryan Henson.
Arrangements are under the direction of Konantz-Warden Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Gospel Tabernacle.
Survivors include a sister, Florence Simmons, Phoenix, Ariz.; three daughters; eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three half brothers and four half sisters.
Mr. Frazier was born Jan. 8, 1914, in Scottsboro, Ala., to Rutherford and Mary (Vaughn) Frazier.
At a young age he worked for his mother as a home builder.
He moved his family to Phoenix, Ariz., and later went to work for U Haul, painting offices and general maintenance painting for their facility. After retiring, he moved to Kansas City, Kan., where he continued working, doing various jobs including biscuit making for McDonalds and general front lobby cleaning for Hardees.
He resided in Kansas City, Kan. until 2009, when he moved to Lamar and in 2010 became a resident at Truman Healthcare. He was resident of the month in October 2010 and won the championship of a horseshoe throwing contest at the Golden Age Games in Monett on October 22, 2010.
He married Betty Marie Loughin on Aug. 10, 1967, in Phoenix, Ariz. She preceded him in death.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Aubry Cemetery, Stillwell, Kan.
