Born to the late Hugh and Irma Bonney Fraser, she lived in Lafayette most of her life. She married William D. Anderson on May 2, 1925, in Lafayette. He died March 2, 1977.

Mrs. Anderson was a homemaker and the oldest member of Brown Street United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing cards, especially bridge, and crocheting.

Surviving is a son, James W. Anderson (wife: Pauline) of Lafayette.
Surviving are 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren; a son-in-law, Richard Strawsma of Lafayette; a daughter-in-law, Marie Anderson of Iowa. She loved and enjoyed her family. Preceded in death by a daughter, Irma Strawsma; a son, Richard Anderson; and a granddaughter.
The Rev. Bruce Mowery officiated.
Sollier-Baker Funeral home was in charge of her arrangements.
