DAVIS WOMAN DIES FRIDAY

Mrs. Ethel Mae Etherton, 60, who had lived most of her life around Davis, died Aug. 5 in the Arbuckle Memorial hospital following a short illness.

Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 8 at 2 p.m. in the United Pentecostal church, Davis, with Rev. Carter and Rev. H. P. Hudspeth officiating. Interment was in the Green Hill cemetery, under direction of the Bahner Funeral home.

Mrs. Etherton was born March 7, 1900, in Davis.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Eula Colson of Fresno, Calif., Mrs. Winnie Cape and Mrs. Joe Stillwagner of Oklahoma City; one son, Jimmy Etherton of Davis; six sisters, Mrs. Alma Hinchey of Erick, Mrs. Gertrude Jennings, Mrs. Dollie Veach, Mrs. Betty Childs, Mrs. Hazel Gilbert, all of Oklahoma City and Mrs. Ollie Hicks of Dougherty; five brothers, Charley Frantz of Sulphur, Don, Fay, William, and Bill Frantz of Oklahoma City.

Pallbearers were D. C. Farr, Cotton Cruce, Manuel Ingram, Fred Childs, Jack Veach, and Earl Sartin.
