John C. Frankum was the sun of William Henry Frankum and Martha Caroline Westfall. On Feb. 22, 1900 in Maryville, Nodaway Co, Missouri he married Della D. Holt. In 1910 they moved to Wellington, Kansas where they raised their 6 children: Alba John, Mary Carolyn, Homer Lynderman, Stanley Holt, Roberta Lorene and Zepha Ruth Frankum. John was a farmer, oilman and appraiser for the Federal Lank Bank of Wichita.
