Lillie Mae Bridges, age 87 a resident of National HealthCare of Clinton and a former resident of Glendale Manor passed away Sunday, November 11, 2012 at Hospice of Laurens County.

She was born in Newberry County and was a daughter of the late Willie Kinard and Essie Lee Wilson Franklin.

Mrs. Bridges had lived most of her life in Joanna, S.C. and was former employee of Greenwood Mills, Joanna Plant, Joanna Elementary School, Whitten Center and the Joanna Grill. She was a faithful member of the Joanna First Baptist Church.

Surviving is her son, Buddy Bridges and wife, Renee of Clinton and two grandsons, Joshua and Matthew Bridges.

Mrs. Bridges was the last surviving member of her immediate family, she was predeceased by five brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Nov. 14th at 3:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Joanna with burial in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends before the service from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the church.

The family will be at the home of Buddy and Renee Bridges, 103 Henry St., Clinton, S.C.
