May Imogene Francis, 81, died Feb. 9, 1998, in The River Pointe Nursing Center.
Mrs. Francis was born in Burke County in North Carolina. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Francis was preceded in death by her husband, Paul D. Francis. Survivors include a daughter, Geralene Nunnally of Rutherford College, N.C.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was also survived by a brother and a sister.
Burial will be private at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk. Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, is handling arrangements.
