W. Taylor Fox Is Taken By Death
Retired Oil Man Succumbs After Operation; Lived Here Many Years
W. Taylor Fox, 507 South Oklahoma died about eleven o’clock last night in a Tulsa Hospital following an operation there Tuesday morning. He had been in poor health for many months but was not considered in a serious condition until lately.

Mr. Fox, for many years a resident of Sapulpa, was engaged in the oil business until recent years when he had retired. He is survived by his widow, one son, William; three brothers in Kentucky, one sister, Mrs. P. J. Conkwright, wife of Dr. Conkwright, pastor of the First Baptist Church here. Dr. and Mrs. Conkwright are on vacation, are visiting their son in Princeton, NJ, and will not be here for the funeral. A strange coincidence is that they were visiting in Kentucky when Reece Fox, a brother at Bristow, died seven years ago.

Mr. Fox had been a member of the Baptist church for many years.
Funeral services will be held here Saturday afternoon at the First Baptist Church at 4 o’clock with Dr. W. O. Leach, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Bristow in charge and assisted by Rev. Robert E. Austin, pastor of the Christian church of this city. Burial will be made in Southern (sic) Heights Cemetery beside his daughter who preceded him in death several years ago. Landrith’s Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.
