Aura Catherine Bolinger, 93, of Marble, passed away May 24 in the Huntsville Memorial Hospital. Born August 18, 1883 at Truth, she was the daughter of Matthew and Mary Jane Lile Fowler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Bolinger, in 1936. She was a member of the Marble United Baptist Church.
Survivors include five sons, Clint Bolinger and Fred Bolinger, both of Huntsville, Claiburn Bolinger of Springdale, Preston Bolinger of Buffalo, Wyo, Eugene Bolinger of Westville, Okla.; eight daughters, Martha Skar of Sheridan, Wyo., Mary Whitten of Westville, Okla., Cova Smith of Springdale, Laura Carr of Coweta, Okla., Aldred Reynolds of Castleford, Idaho, Gretchen McConnell of Siloam Springs, Beatrice Hargis of Huntsville, Daphne Hardesty of Tulsa, Okla. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Loy in 1967 and Odene in 1943.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 27, at 2 p.m. in Marble United Baptist Church with Rev. Harold DuVall and Rev. Jerry Spurlock officiating. Interment will be in Dotson Cemetery under the direction of Brashears.
Pallbearers are Larry Bolinger, James Hargis, O. D. Reynolds, Efton Bolinger, Sammy Whitten and Loy Hardesty. Honorary pallbearers are Robert Keller, Tommy Spicer, Jimmy Cantrell, Carl Sisne, Kirby Ham and John Ramsey.
