Terry Lee Fowler, 68 of Harrisburg, passed away at 6:20 AM, Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at his residence in Harrisburg.
He was born on March 30, 1946, to Pete and Imogene (Stunson) Fowler. On February 14, 1993, he married the former April Brittain Parks. Terry was a Army Veteran and a member of New Life Full Gospel Church. He was very active in the church and dearly loved his church family. He always had a story to tell and was a constant witness for the Lord. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and fishing with friends and family.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Russell (Rusty) Fowler, and brother, Gary Deon Fowler.
Terry is survived by his wife April, son Mikel Huff; stepchildren, Shelia Shavez and husband Tommy, Rick Johnson and wife Cindy, and Steve Wagoner and wife Tina; aunt, Lovie Stunson; cousin, Hovie Stunson; special friends, Lester Dowdy and wife Denise, and Eloise Lindsay; and his faithful companions, Boogie, Harley, Misty, Blue, Precious, and Puddin Kitty. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
Funeral services for Terry Lee Fowler, will be held at 11 AM, Friday, July 18, 2014 at New Life Full Gospel Church at 924 Cedar Street. Pastor Duke Williams will officiate. Interment will follow in Sunset Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 PM, Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. Memorials may be made to New Life Full Gospel Church and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
