Thomas Richard Foster, age 67, of Susan Moore passed away at UAB Hospital on June 1, 2014. Born in Etowah County, he was the son of the late Ellie and Lurene Foster. Tom worked in law enforcement for over 20 years. He retired from the Blount County Sheriff's Department after working for both Snead and Blountsville Police Departments. He loved golf, Alabama football and enjoying nature.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by one infant brother and one infant sister.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at 11AM from the Chapel of Lemley Funeral Home with burial following at Altoona/Walnut Grove Cemetery.
