Carl Eugene Foster, age 66, of Pelham, AL passed away at his residence on Tuesday, December 31, 2013. Mr. Foster was a Lieutenant with the Hoover Fire Department (retired) for twenty years. He also served in the U. S. Army and was a decorated Vietnam Veteran who received two Purple Hearts, the Bronze Star Medal, and the Silver Star Medal for acts of valor. Mr. Fosters visitation will be on Sunday, January 5, 2014 from 6 8 PM at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel, Montevallo, AL. His funeral service will be on Monday, January 6, 2014 at 1:30 PM at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at 2:45 PM at Alabama National Cemetery. Services to be officiated by Chaplain John Dennis. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Heart Association . Rockco Funeral Home Montevallo directing.
