Her death certificate lists her as Johanna Anderson, married, born in Wilkes County and died in Wilkesboro on May 9, 1920. It shows her father's last name as Feaster/Foster and no mother's name. I believe her parents, according to the 1880 census to be Thomas and Mary Foster. It is assumed her son was born out of wedlock and she later married Allen Lawson Anderson, who was quite a bit younger, who, after Joanna's death, married Phoebe. And, while Lawson's (b. and d. 1914) death certificate says Phoebe was his mother, I believe Joan was his mother.
