Emmitt C. Foster, 78, went home to be with the Lord on June 13, 2012. He was born on February 17, 1934 in Rochelle, Georgia to Emmitt Sparrow, Bertha Brown and his dad, Aaron Foster.
He is survived by his wife, Loretta Foster; children, Ernest Foster, Milton Baker, Vernell Gillepie, Deno Foster (Michelle), Grady Foster and Anthony Harris; 24 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren; and a host other relatives and friends.
Mr. Foster will rest in the mortuary for the visitation of friends on Friday, June 22, from 5-8PM. Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 23, at 11:00AM in the Thank You Jesus Ministries, 8973 Lem Turner Road. Interment will be in the Restlawn Memorial Park.
