Fort Worth - Jewel L Cox, 77, a retired meat cutter for Safeway, died Tuesday at her home.
Graveside services: 3 p.m. today in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville.
Jewel Cox was born in Scury, Texas. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church and was a longtime employee of Safeway.
Survivors: Husband, Edgar L Palmer; sons Bobby Cox of Colorado Springs and Tommy Cox of Fort Worth; daughters, Peggy Strain of Paris, Texas, Frances Thompson and Delita Moody both of Fort Worth, Patrica Salazar and Sandra Raistrick, both of Azel; brothers, Buster Fortner of Kaufman; sisters, Hazel Jordan and Christine Taylor, both of Forney; 25 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and two very dear friends, Velma and Bill Davidson of Fort Worth.
