ARLINGTON -- Bobby Burl Forsythe, 69, a beloved father and retired sheet metal worker, passed away Friday, Feb. 11, 2005, in Arlington.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Monday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Burial: Grove Hill Memorial Park, Dallas. Commital service: 2 p.m. at the cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Wade Family Funeral Home.

Bobby Burl Forsythe, the son of Burl Alexander Forsythe and Ella Goldie Cantrell Forsythe, was born Oct. 3, 1935, in Handley.
He was raised in Dallas and married the love of his life, Shirley Ann Atkinson in 1955. She preceded him in death, Feb. 15. 2004. An Arlington resident since 1964, he retired from Shop Data Systems after a career in sheet metal engineering. Bobby was a 49-year member of Sheet Metal Workers Local 68. He was an apprentice sheet metal instructor and enjoyed teaching other people his skills and talents, both in sheet metal and computers.
Bobby was a dedicated Christian father whose family was very important to him.
He enjoyed gardening and his dog, Sassy.
Survivors: Son, Robert Dale Forsythe and wife, Kimberly of Kennedale; daughters, Susan Forson and husband, Darrell and Deborah Davisson and husband, Mark, all of Arlington; brother, John W. Forsythe; sisters, Melba Huggins and Norma Scott; sister-in-law, Pat Henley; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
