MRS. FRANCES AUSTIN, widow of Norbert Austin of Clearspring, died at the home of her nephew, C. M. Austin, 2107 Virginia avenue, yesterday afternoon at 5 o'clock of complications after an illness of several days, aged 85 years.
She was a member of the Lutheran church of Fairview.
Three sisters survive, Mrs. Mary Kissinger, Lane's Run, Miss Bell Forsyth and Mrs. Charity Hoover, of Dry Run.
The funeral will be held Friday afternoon with a short service at the home of her nephew at 2 o'clock, after which the body will be taken to Fairview with services at the Lutheran church at 3 o'clock by Rev. C. W. Huddle, assisted by Rev. Walter Deihl; interment in cemetery adjoining.
