He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II, having received the Purple Heart for wounds suffered in combat. He is survived by his Wife, Alpha Brockman Forse of Kirbyville, 2 sons, Armon Forse and wife Pat of Penn Valley, CA; and Alvin Forse and wife Jo Ann, of Vallejo, CA; 2 daughters, Diane Granger and husband Gerald of Nederland and Alice Carlsen and husband Steve of Plano; 3 brothers Herbert Forse, Hubert Forse, and Dalton Forse all of Houston, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
