Reva May Barrow was born April 28, 1927, near Hammon OK to Leamon and Opal (Ashworth) Forrester and passed away September 4, 2009, at the age of 82. She graduated from Hammon High School and married Rex Barrow in 1945. They made their home in Canute OK where they raised their 3 children. She was a homemaker and devoted much of her life to her family.
Reva was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her stepfather Newt Turner, and son Darrell Barrow.
Family members include daughters Donna Evans of Canute, and Deanna Jordan and husband Jackie of Elk City OK; sister Louise Gunter of Canute; grandchildren Kevin Evans of Butler OK, Kendra Newcomb and husband Chad of Butler, Kellie Marshall and husband T.W. of Canute, Troy Jordan and wife Deanna of Elk City, Tosha Chauncey and husband Tim of Elk City; great-grandchildren Kelbie Hunter, Kirstin Wright, Terri Shearin, Camryn Marshall, Casady Marshall, Saxon Jordan, Justin Jordan, and Talan Jordan; and great-great-grandchildren Kenly and Kaylynn Hunter.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, September 8, 2009, at 10:30 a.m., from the Martin Funeral Home Chapel of Elk City. Interment will follow in the Canute Cemetery
