Funeral Home Notice
Janis L. Foresman
(July 1, 1953 - March 27, 2016)
Janis Reeder Boyles Foreman of Heatherbrooke Estates, Muncy passed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on March 27, 2016 at the Gate House, after her short battle with aggressive pancreatic cancer.
She was the proud mother of her son, Eric and especially proud of her grandchildren, students in the Montoursville school district. She attended Loyalsock High School and received her GED later. A graduate of Newport Business School, she received a medical secretary degree. Working for a variety of companies in her life, she finally found the one she loved through Securitas working as a guard part time at Great Dane Trucking.
Janis liked people and had a personality a lot like her late Uncle George Reeder. An eternal optimist, always a smile. The road will come out somewhere, just keep going.
She had recently rejoined the Mill Creek United Methodist Church having attended there in her younger years. She also was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, in Hughesville. She loved horses, angels, and Blues Festival Music. A true hippie at heart.
Janis was preceded in death by her father, Bud Reeder; her first husband, David R. Boyles; and a son Christopher D. Boyles.
Surviving are a husband of almost 10 years, Jeffrey S. Foresman of Muncy; her mother, Shirley A. Reeder of Valley View; a son, Eric (Jen) Boyles of Montoursville; and grandchildren, Sherri, Phoenix, Orion, and Mandon all of Montoursville; her only sibling, Gloria (George) Ferguson of Hughesville; many nieces and nephews; and her cat, Clover.
