Her funeral will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Ingle and Rev. Dick Whitener officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at Warlick Funeral Home prior to the service.
Mrs. Baker was born April 23, 1942 to the late Clyde Pascal and Charlotte Wiggins Fore. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gus Douglas Baker and one son, Gregory Douglas Baker.
Mrs. Baker was a knitting machine operator in textiles.
She is survived by one son, Brent T. Baker of Lincolnton; two daughters, Tammy Baker of Nebo, and Kim B. Stamey of Morganton; two brothers, Eric Fore of Hickory and Van Fore of Boone; and five grandchildren.
