Funeral services for Edna Estelle Griffith will be held Monday, January 17, 2011 at 10:00am in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Rev. Jerry Hollman officiating. Interment will follow in Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 16, 2011 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home. Edna was born March 20, 1926 in Vicksburg, Mississippi to George and Mae Ford and entered the Gates of Heaven on January 15, 2011 in Houston, Texas. Edna was a former member of the Eastern Star. She was a very devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. She will be missed by her family but always kept in our hearts with love-filled memories of her. Edna was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dean Griffith and by her son, David Griffith. She is survived by her children, Pam Demaret (Joe), Tina Martindale, Susan Clark and Les Griffith (Karla); twelve (12) grandchildren, thirteen (13) great grandchildren and one (1) great -great grandchild.
