She was a daughter to Herschel Jack and Vernice Ford. On May 26, 1972, she married Keith Balfour, who survives in Celina.
Also surviving is a brother, Gene (Iona), Greenville; and a sister, Joan (John) Ford, Danville, IL.
Deceased are two brothers, Robert and Tom Ford.
She worked at WCSM Radio for several years and was an owner and operator of the former WMER, now WKKI in Celina. She retired after 22 years as director of the Celina-Mercer County Chamber of Commerce. She was a Girl Scout advisor and also spent 18 years as Lake Festival Pageant director. She was a member of Grace Missionary Church in Celina.
Private funeral services are being held at the convenience of the family.
