Forbes, Mrs. Fannie B.

Died at 4:20 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, 1979, at Baton Rouge General Hospital. She was 74, a native of East Baton Rouge Parish and a resident of Baker. Body at Welsh Funeral Home, with visiting at Bethany Baptist Church from 9 a.m. Friday until religious services at 10 a.m. conducted by the Rev. Roy Stockstill, the Rev. Al Bennett and the Rev. Carl Delatte. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by her husband, A. H. Forbes Sr., Baker; two daughters, Mrs. Clarence ( Jeanette ) Quick Jr., Galliano, and Mrs. James ( Maxine ) Forde, Baton Rouge; a son, Allen H. Forbes Jr., Baker; two sisters, Mrs. F. G. Sullivan and Mrs. Tommy Rounsaville; a brother, Bonnie Kendrick, Baton Rouge; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Memorial donations may be made to Gideon Bible Fund.
