Carl Fonda, 60, died early this morning in the Homer Folks hospital at Oneonta where he had been a patient one month. He had been employed as a glove cutter at the Goodhelm Glove Co. until June. Mr. Fonda was born in Mayfleld April 25, 1885 and always resided here. He attended the Presbyterian church. Surviving relatives are his father, Newton Fonda and two brothers, Nelson and Justin, of Mayfleld; three sisters. Mrs, Clarence Deuel of Albany; Mrs. Percy Trevett and Mrs. Beatrice Blackinger of Gloversville: an aunt, Mrs. Lillian Deming of Fultonville and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will he held at the Kennedy funeral home, 150 South Main street, Gloversville, Saturday afternoon at 2. The Rev. Fred L. Decker, D. D., will officiate.
