Mrs. Louise Fonda Kent of 326 W. Colvin st. died Wednesday night in University Hospital following a lingering illness. She was the daughter of Peter and Adelaide Cooper Fonda and a direct descendant of the Cooper family for which Cooperstown was named. Mrs. Kent was born in Oswego and had resided in Syracuse for 45 years. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Alice Brady of Syracuse. Services will be conducted in the funeral parlors of Bert Dey, 457 James st., Friday afternoon by Rev. Dr. Colvin M. Thompson. Burial will be in Morningside cemetery.
